ENTRY REQUIREMENT

• Pass SPMor equivalent with at least PASSED in FOUR (4) subjects, including Bahasa Melayu, History, Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and Science / Technical / Vocational based subjects;

OR;

• Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 3 (SKM Tahap 3) programmes are accredited by the Department of Skills Development (DSD) under the Ministry of Human Resources. These programmes are at Level 3 in the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)

OR;

Passed other qualification (Technical Certificate) that organized by Malaysian Government.

Note:

• Technical Certificate refers to certificates in an engineering field without ‘engineering’ in the programme’s name

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The programme prepares graduates for employment within a multitude of organizations that operates in manufacturing industries in the capacity of maintenance technicians, engineering or industrial technicians, quality control & quality assurance inspector, draughtsman and various high technology employment opportunities in materials & manufacturing industries. Most of students graduated are working in manufacturing industries, oil and gas industries, consultation, and other industries.

Salary range in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and consultancy and others is RM 1500 – RM 2200.
